Who am I?

I’m Barry Crisp, a passionate advocate for business growth, creativity, and innovation - with over 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, communications, and international project management.

Throughout my career, I’ve managed major accounts and campaigns across a range of sectors, collaborating with global organisations such as the OECD, Google, and the European Commission. These experiences have shaped my cross-cultural sensitivity and my belief in the power of strategic, ethical marketing.

My expertise spans digital marketing, strategy, communications, branding, business development, and event management, always with a focus on creating meaningful impact and measurable growth.

Beyond consultancy, I serve as Marketing and Communications Director at the Global Centre for Healthy Workplaces (GCHW) and as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Northampton. My academic and professional work explores areas such as social enterprise, sustainable innovation, and workplace wellbeing.

In 2023, my research and passion for sport led to the creation of two models - the Sports Brand Equity & Fan Engagement Model (SBEFEM) and the Fan Engagement Analysis Navigating & Strategy (FANS) Model - developed in response to the Premier League’s Fan Engagement Standard (FES).

Driven by a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and ethical business, I’m dedicated to helping others achieve success through strategic marketing and clear communication.
